Cat Spans - Visualizing Distribution

The "spans" data contains information about cat weight and expected life span. The dataset isn't as large as stats or as intriguing to me as words. Therefore, this page is less populated than the others.
In the other data exploration pages, histograms were presented without significant discussion. So on this page, you will have finer control on how a histogram is presented. You can see how your selections change the visualization of the data's distribution.

For each entry in the spans data, bounds were averaged to a single number. Therefore the data (previously a range of two integers) has a maximum step size of 0.5. As you explore the spans attributes, their various ranges and distributions will become apparent.

Choose the span data type, number of bins to try, and then hit submit to generate a histogram. Notice how the range for each bin varies with your chosen number of bins.
